Price: Playback starts at $59 a year
Playback costs $40.99 less per year than LISTENTO Basic, about 41% less on annual billing. On monthly billing, Playback costs $3 less each month.

Monthly and yearly are separate billing choices. The yearly column is the full annual charge, not a monthly installment. Playback’s $59 annual price works out to about $4.92 per month, paid yearly. Prices checked October 17, 2026; tax and special offers are excluded. Playback renews until canceled.
For stereo review with a small client group, Playback offers the lower subscription price here. Playback supports up to five listeners, with lower limits at the highest Studio formats, and includes 200 GB of delivery per monthly anniversary. LISTENTO Basic lists 10 listeners and up to 16 channels; Pro lists 150 listeners and up to 128 channels. These plans cover different capacities, so choose for the session you actually run.
The workflow difference
Audiomovers documents browser, receiver and application workflows, with quality and channel choices that depend on the product and plan. Playback's current offering is stereo. A binaural render of an Atmos mix remains two-channel audio; it is not transmission of Atmos objects or discrete surround channels.
If a client only needs to hear the stereo mix while it changes, compare the sender setup and the listener's joining steps. If the delivery needs discrete surround, independent channels or a specific recording workflow, check the exact LISTENTO edition and receiver before booking the session.

- Input and setup
- Insert Playback Send on the stereo bus, choose the quality before starting, and share the listening link. A browser listener opens the link and presses play without creating an account or installing a plugin.
- Working with it
- Use the stream for listening and mix review, with a separate call for conversation. Playback Receive provides a native receiving route. Review the device and quality requirements before choosing the stream format.
- Before the session
- Up to five simultaneous listeners, with lower limits for the highest Studio formats. Each subscription includes 200 GB per monthly anniversary, counting delivery to each listener. Unused delivery does not roll over; streaming stops at the allowance until reset, without automatic overage charges.
Before the first session
Test the exact listener device and connection. Compare channel count, sample rate, listener limits and included delivery, not just the highest number in a format list.
